If we are unfaithful He remains faithful for He cannot deny Himself.
2 Timothy 2:13
God can not deny Himself when were unfaithful to Him He still remains faithful to us.
You may ignore God and not make him the priority in your life and He will still be faithful to you. Think about this if you had a boyfriend or a girlfriend and you found out they were seeing someone else behind your back. I’m sure you would be out of that relationship real quick, but with God even if you’re unfaithful to God He will stay faithful to you.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
God’s faithful to forgive your sins. Imagine if He wasn’t and you would go to God and ask Him to forgive you and for Him to reply “ I don’t feel like it right now maybe later you know what come back after lunch and maybe I’ll forgive you.”
We are blessed to have a God who’s faithful to forgive us when we ask at any time our God doesn’t go on lunch breaks He’s there for us 24/7.

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
2 Thessalonians 3:3
The Lord is faithful to protect you He’s not going to leave you alone He won’t abound you in a time of trouble cause He’s faithful and true to His word. In Numbers 23:19 it say God is not a man that he should lie. God can't lie it’s not in His nature He’s not like us we lie He doesn’t.
There was a time in my life I thought God had abound me my parents were always fighting and to put it short my family was dysfunctional it got to a point were I thought they would divorce. I had heard that divorce destroyed families. I thought my family is so messed up I have no idea what divorce would do to it. I was afraid to wake up in the morning because I knew I would just wake up to more fighting, yelling and chaos. I need something to numb the pain to make me forget all the junk going on around me and instead of turning to God I turned to anime I put all my time and attention into anime. It would help me ignore what was going on around me instead of trying to deal with it. I was being unfaithful to God and even though I was being unfaithful He was still being faithful to me.
While I was doing my own thing, ignoring God and not making Him the priority in my life like He should be. He was still being faithful to me my family was being restored, we stared going back to church, divorce was not something I needed to be afraid of and this was while I was being unfaithful to Him he was still faithful.
He was so faithful that He even delivered me from the addiction to anime I had developed.
God does not ever abound us it’s us who ignore Him. He’s waiting for you to go back to Him.


Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.
Deuteronomy 7:9

This verse tells us straight out that God is the Faithful God, but it also says we have to love and keep His commands. This means we have to be a reflection of God we have to be faithful just like God.
None of us would want to be caught unfaithful because unfaithfulness is a sin and the wages of sin is death.

Like a bad tooth or a lame foot is reliance on the unfaithful in times of trouble
Proverbs 25:19
Think about it if you have a broken tooth its going to hurt to eat and if you have a lame foot if you try walking you’ll hurt yourself. So why does the Bible compare an unfaithful man to things that hurt? Because if you trust someone you know is unfaithful you know you can’t trust them you’re only going to get hurt. It will result
in some kind of emotional pain and maybe in extreme cases physical pain.
Right now you’re properly thinking of someone who was unfaithful to perhaps a family member or a friend who backstabbed you, but for a moment let’s stop focusing on them and focus on ourselves. Have you ever been unfaithful to your parents? When we disobey that shows unfaithfulness, to your friends when you talk about them behind there backs your being unfaithful. To your brother and sisters in Christ when you ridicule them for trying to use there talents to glorify God. To your Pastor or youth pastor when you talk bad about them behind there backs. To your God when you make someone or something more important than God you are being unfaithful.
This world has enough unfaithful people if you have been unfaithful in any way ask God to help you. Ask Him to let the fruit of the spirit of faithfulness grow in your life. If you’re born again you have all the fruit of the sprit but they need to be developed.
I stated before that unfaithfulness in your life could lead to pain, but it can also lead to destruction.
In Daniel chapter six we see that the men who accused Daniel were unfaithful.
They were not in agreement with the king’s decision to put Daniel over the whole kingdom and this lead to there distraction.

At the king’s command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions’ den...
Daniel 6:24
Sometimes we say its not going to hurt me its only one drink, its only one smoke, its only one night. Is one drink going to get me drunk, is one smoke going to get me high, is one night really going to get me pregnant or a disease guess what its possible. You unfaithfulness can gat you destroyed just like the men who accused Daniel.
“But a faithful man who can find” that’s what Proverbs 20:6 says it goes on to say “The righteous man leads a blameless life blessed are his children after him”
Most of you aren’t married yet so you don’t have children but by being faithful now you are already setting up for your children to be blessed. Okay that’s great and all but what about if you’re faithful right now what happens to you.
In Proverbs 29:20 it says "A faithful man will be richly blessed" by being faithful not only will your future children be blessed but you will prosper.

There is a characteristic of a faithful man I want to show you. It can be found in Proverbs 11:13 “A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.”
Trustworthy is just another word for faithful. A faithful man watches what he says
he doesn't go around gossiping. Watch what you say because if you talking about people you’re gossiping you’re not being faithful. Learn to watch what you say that way you can be found faithful.

My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me...
Psalm 101:6
When I read this verse I was just blown away because it says if I'm faithful God's eyes well be on me and that I can dwell in Him. I can't think of a better reason to be faithful. Read the verse again God's saying His eyes will be on you and that you can dwell in Him and to dwell in Him means to take refuge. He will protect you through every situation you go through in life. There a person in the Bible who was faithful
and God’s eyes were on him and he dwelled in God. His name was Daniel since he was a young man all the way into adulthood he was faithful.
In Daniel chapter one he refused to eat food that at during that time went against
God's law he was being faithful even at a young age. Daniel could have been killed for not eating the food but he was willing to take the risk to remain faithful. How many of us right now if are friends asked us to a movie, would be able to say no I'm not going to see that movie because it as sex, no I won't see cause it has drugs and alcohol, no I won't give money to see them use the name of my God in vain.
But Daniel had the penalty of death hanging over his head and he was not afraid to say no but were afraid of are friend making fun of us infact if they make fun of you because of you beliefs maybe you need to reconsider you friends.
In Daniel chapter two the king has a dream and Daniel interrupts it for him the king is so pleased with him he wants to appoint Daniel over all the wise men which are like the kings personal adviser. But Daniel tells the king to appoint his friends instead he was faithful even to his friends.
Now imagine Bill Gates coming up to you and saying" I want to make you my personal adviser you get fame, fortune, a brand new mansion and all the new cars you want and all you do is tell me what to do" .
Would you be able to give it to you friend would you be able to tell Bill Gates you friend was more qualified than you think about. Nobody knows what they will do in a situation till you in it but I'll be honest I'd probably keep it but faithfulness isn't fully developed in my life yet it takes time God's still working on me.
Thought the book of Daniel we see many examples of faithfulness but' I want to focus on one in Daniel 6:10. What’s happing here is a law has just been passed stating that if you pray to anyone but the king you'll get thrown in the lions den let see what Daniel did
Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. Daniel 6:10

Daniel was not ashamed of his faith in God and we shouldn’t be ashamed either
We should be able to walk in our schools and workplaces and declare we are children of the living God. We shouldn’t be ashamed to say, no to drugs, no to premarital sex, no to alcohol. no to gay marriage, no to cutting, no to pornography, no to suicide, no to gambling and no to abortion. we shouldn’t be ashamed and yet we are. We need to stop being ashamed and proclaim that we are walking in the spirit we need to say yes to love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. Don’t be afraid or ashamed to stand up for who you are in Christ be faithful and walk in the spirit.
